Geek Gifts for Online Shoppers - What to get the Nerd on your list!

geek gifts, geek gadgets, usb warm gadgets, gifts for a geek

by Anna Miller, IGMproducts.com

Stumped again because you don't know what to get the geek on your gift-giving shopping list?

There are a few new geek gift ideas to use when the office or home work space has a chilly temperature. The USB heat, warm mouse, heated mouse pad, heated computer keyboard pad and mouse hand warmer blanket are available at low prices online. Plus, online shoppers can search to find websites offering free shipping and no sales tax. Search Google for "warm mouse free shipping" to find the best selection.

The warm mouse plugs into the USB port and generates infrared heat to keep the mouse hand relaxed and warm. The same holds true for the heated mouse pad. The heated mouse pad creates a warm surface to place your mouse hand. The warm products are safe for people and the computer. When using the warm mouse and heated mouse pad inside a mouse hand warmer blanket pouch, a very comfortable warm environment is created for the mouse hand.

Keyboard hands get cold, too. A soft, warm, ergonomic heated computer keyboard pad is placed in front of the keyboard. The USB heat, warm keyboard pad creates a comfortable resting place for arms, hands and wrists. It also generates deep healing infrared heat.

Infrared heat penetrates deeply through the skin's layers to the muscle tissue. USB heat is the rage. Warmth derived from the computer provides a cost-effective and energy-efficient source of heat. USB heat delivered from the geek's computer directly to his/her cold, stiff hand muscles is soothing, relieves tension and stress caused by gripping a computer mouse or typing at the keyboard! Plus, infrared heat can offset the onset of computer-related hand injury.

Do you know how to tell if you live with a computer nerd? It's easy, the computer nerd is continuously using the computer, and is attached to the computer in the other room. A friend once told me, "You can tell if a person is a nerd if he/she checks their email before brushing their teeth in the morning!" I thought that was pretty accurate. So, if you know or live with someone who logs-on prior to brushing, there's a pretty good change he/she is a computer nerd!

Gifts for a geek are always a challenge because there's such a wide variety of gadgets available these days at a wide range of prices and functions. As a suggestion, stick to something practical, cost-effective and energy-efficient. For any holiday season, we enjoy getting and giving items with free shipping and no sales tax.

Most computer addicts don't get enough exercise. They sit for long hours glued to their mouse and keyboard. As the months pass and the temperatures begin to drop, so does the tolerance to the chilled air. In an office or at home, a computer geek's mouse hand and keyboard hands can get very cold. The hands become frigid and fingertips become numb. Aside from any medical condition, like carpal tunnel or Raynaud's with poor circulation problems, the computer addict who spends several hours daily mousing their way through the Internet can experience cold computer hands.

USB warm gadgets are fun geek gifts to give and receive. For more information about the value of using USB infrared heat, visit ValueRays.com or the Learning Center at IGMproducts.com.

I have been quite in love with the idea of having a mini computer for while now. Then, I was recently at a blogging convention and noticed the oh so many minis that were in the room. They were all nice, but this particular one really caught my eye. It isn’t only mini, it’s beautiful. It’s practically a fashion statement, an accessory. Now what momma wouldn’t want that?

After doing some research I find out it is the HP Mini - Vivienne and it weights on 3 lbs. Now for this weak armed little lady that’s an added bonus. Plus it’ll fit in my purse. It even has accessories that match that you can purchase separately. Not to mention all of its fab features, including Windows XP, a web cam, a mini mobile drive, just to name a few.

I have been wanting a mini, but now I want THIS mini. What about you?
--------------------------------------
I think I'll stick to my PC. If I was a corporate traveler, maybe I'd buy this just to be designer, but I really enjoy using my current laptop and am addicted to my desktop with the warm mouse and heated mouse pad!

Featuring warm mouse pad gifts for a geek

A very nice looking warm mouse pad in black and silver gray compliments any desk top. Plus, the warm mouse pad has a 4 USB port hub. The heated mouse pad uses a carbon fiber to generate infrared heat to the pad's surface. This makes for a very nice resting place for the palm of the hand and wrist. If you have not used a mouse pad that heats and warms, then you should try it. Mouse pads have a very cold surface, and during the winter or in an air conditioned office, this can be very uncomfortable. We suggest reading about the value of using infrared heat. You may be surprised to hear about the benefits of using infrared heated computer devices. Here's the manufacturer's link - http://www.valuerays.com/. You can read more details at the authorized reseller's site - http://www.igmproducts.com/. Using the warm, heated mouse pad inside a Mouse Hand Warmer blanket pouch creates a comfortable mouse house for your mouse hand. Click here to see the mouse hand warmer on Etsy.com.

No longer stumped for geek gift giving

It doesn't matter if it is for a birthday, holiday or just time to buy a geek a gift, I'm always stumped. There's tons of stuff on the market ranging from $1 to $1ooo's of dollars. That's not the problem. The problem is most of it is junk, and its money wasted. In today's economy, I try to be money smart. Hope you can learn a little from my experiences.

The best geek gift items I've found for the money are the USB heated mouse and warm mouse pad. Why are they recommended? Simple. They really work. The USB heated mouse maintains about 104 degrees farhrenheit after about 15-20 minutes plugged into a USB port. The USB warm mouse pad does the same. They take the edge off the cold and really do a good job.

I bought a pair of $500 virtual eye glasses a few years ago. What a waste. They didn't work and we had to return them. I bought an USB heated cup warmer, a pair of USB heated gloves and a few other geek gadgets and they were all junk. I plugged the gloves into the USB port and kept them plugged in all day and they never got warm. What a waste of time, money and effort!

When you're looking for a practical geek gift, think of a ValueRays Heated Mouse and ValueRays Warm Mouse Pad. They are both available online through an authorized dealer at IGMproducts.com.

Geek Gadget the Heated Mouse Warms Mouse Hand

Visit ValueRays.com

Does your mouse hand get cold? Does it ache from overuse? Do your fingers feel numb and frozen? Maybe you are experiencing signs of chronic cold mouse hand! There's relief. There's an infrared heated mouse designed to soothe aching hand muscles, keep your mouse hand warm, and produce a healing effect with deep penetrating infrared heat rays.

Not sure how much time you spend sitting in front of a computer, and if you are reading this, I bet you spend at least a few hours everyday mousing your way online. There's tons of data available about the ill effects of computer overuse; especially for people who do not use the computer in a healthy manner. By healthy, I refer to proper ergonomics. Yet, even with proper ergonomics in place, there is still the risk of ill effects of overuse; especially overuse of the mouse hand.

There are an endless number of hand ailments and medical conditions with cold hand symptoms and side effects. Some of these ailments include arthritis, tendonitis, Raynaud's phenomenon, diabetes, migraine headaches, poor circulation, alcohol abuse, cigarette addiction, and the list goes on and on. Cold hands when trying to get computer work completed are annoying and painful. Not only do they cause pain to your mouse hand, cold hands actually become numb, and fingertips feel as though they are frozen.

Exposed hands working at the computer need warmth. If you work in a cold room, office or a drafty space, it is wise to use a heated computer mouse. A heated mouse generates warmth through the skin's layers penetrating the muscle tissue. There are a variety of heated computer devices using an USB connection and many of them use a carbon fiber which transmits infrared heat. Infrared heat is known to create a healing effect for sore muscles. The Eastern cultures have been using infrared heat for centuries. The sun is a natural source of infrared heat. The nice thing about an infrared heated mouse is getting all the benefits of the sun without the harmful UV rays.

Further research indicates 20-30 minutes of infrared heat daily can actually provide healing results. So, if you're like me, an USB infrared heated mouse would certainly be a welcomed relief for cold mouse hand pain. A heated mouse stimulates the flow of blood, and in turn reduces stiffness in finger and wrist joints. If muscles are sore, the heated mouse will penetrate deeply to soothe aching muscles.

Chemical toxins in the blood are a concern today with all the food we eat and the air we breathe. The infrared heat generated by the warmth of an USB heated mouse helps to detoxify our system of the unhealthy toxins. The heat releases the toxins from blood cells ridding the body of unnecessary toxic build up.

Massage therapists use heat to relax muscles. Why not use heat at home while we work? Keep your mouse hand relaxed, your blood flowing to reduce poor circulation and detoxify your system with the use of an infrared heated computer mouse.

If you enjoy the feel of the sun's heat on your face on a warm summer day, then you'll truly enjoy the warmth of a warm mouse while you are sitting at work in front of a computer!

For more information about the heated mouse and other infrared heated computer devices visit http://www.igmproducts.com/.
